- Spanish-American War Vet:
Private Cole of Co I Dead
Information has come to Chicopee friends in a letter from Ralph F Fisk that Eugene F Cole of Florence, a member of Co I, in the 2d regiment, died on the 9th at Santiago. Mr Cole was an adopted son of Charles J McCoy of Exchange street, Chicopee. The family have received no information as to the cause of death.
